everything can be defined as this word we're going to make up called "god", and so this term "god" is the universe (including both inside us and external, it's everything) and to experience god (this everything) is to put your mind into godmind.  To open your awareness to everything, mentally take your perception to an broad awareness of everything all at once, instead of your own immediate limited experience. Change your perspective.  And that's another way to describe presence. Â
It's a shame they ruined the word god from its original scientific / factual meaning, to anthropomorphize it.
And from this open mind, through presence you can find peace, insight, awareness, connection to others, and more. It's trust and knowledge, liberty and freedom, correction of error.
When monists claim there is only 1 external god, what they're actually doing is denying our inner pantheon. This leads to detachment of our nature, cuts off our true self and our full connection with "the divine", opening the door for error. Leads us to be human beings living and promoting error, by keeping a low mentality (one of villain/victim judgement complex).
It's all psychology... physical mechanics of mind. No fairy tale.
Meant to help us govern our inner pantheon "as a god would",
With full awareness brings understanding which brings loving kindness of all
A divine constructive mentality "as a god would have", rather than an erroneous judgement mentality "as a demiurge would have". Read more at Cosmic Mountain of Consciousness
